Race Course Description

The swim is a triangular, two loop swim in Fort Pond. It will be marked with orange buoys and there will be lifeguards stationed along the swim course. It is expected that the water temperature will be in the high 60's so wetsuits are highly recommended.

The bike course is a two loop course with rolling hills. There is a water bottle exchange at mile 17 which you will pass twice. At the water bottle exchange there will be water, HEED, Hammergel, bananas, and a porta pottie. Dispose of all trash at this location. It is against USAT rules (and basic courtesy) to toss out items on the course. The course starts at Camp Lowe on Fort Pond Inn Road. Take a left onto Fort Pond, left onto Shirley Rd, and right at Shaker Rd (prison entrance). Continue straight bearing left at fork with Shaker Rd, merge right onto Lancaster Rd, right onto Main St, right onto Grant (entering Devens) right onto Jackson Rd, left onto Patton Rd, right onto Barnum Rd, right at traffic circle, right onto Old Mill, left onto Blanchard, right on Gebo Lane, right onto Rte 110, right on Old Shirley, continue on Prospect Hill, right on 110, right on 117, bear right at fork (Creamery rd & rte 70), right onto Rte 70. Right on Old Union Turnpike, and back to the intersection at the start of the bike course, then repeat for the second loop. Quadmultisport will provide support on the bike course.

The run is an out and back 13.1 one mile course. There will be aid stations at approximately every mile with water and HEED. At every other stop there will be Hammergel, pretzels, and bananas. There will be a porta potty on the run course.
